Point #5: The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.

John 14:16; 16:7 Both Father and Son are divine and had a part in sending the Spirit to Christians.
to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment,
John 16:8 The Holy Spirit brings men to a state of repentance for their sins.
to regenerate,
Titus 3:5 The Holy Spirit changes us, giving us a new nature obedient to the Father’s will.
to sanctify, and
2 Thessalonians. 2:13 The Spirit superintends our spiritual growth.
to empower all who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Holy Spirit
indwells every believer in Christ and that
1 Corinthians 6:19 The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Christ or else no part of salvation would be possible. This implies that the “baptism of the Spirit” is a synonym for salvation (1 Corinthians. 12:13).
